This private express cultural tour in Panama City begins when your guide picks you up at your hotel, residence or airport in Panama City. You can choose between different times to start your tour when you make your reservation. We will give you more information about your pick-up time after you book the tour, once you have selected your start time.

You will be picked up in a mobile car and then taken to the Panama Canal Visitor Center (entrance fee not included in the tour price). At the Canal Visitor Center, you will have the opportunity to see the ships pass through the locks and learn about the operation and history of the Panama Canal, the piece of architecture that connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. 

Afterwards, you will observe the dense Panamanian jungle, witness the excavations of the French in the 19th century, observe how the engineering of a century ago transformed international shipping and tropical medicine. This and more can be enjoyed in the documentary Panama Canal Land Divided - A World United at the Panama Canal IMAX located at the Miraflores Visitor Center in Panama City.

After your visit to the Canal, you will be taken by mobile car to the Handicrafts Market where you will find a great variety of handmade pieces made by Panamanian artisans, a good opportunity for you to take home a souvenir of Panama. 

Later we will head to the Bridge of the Americas, where you will have a great opportunity to take pictures of the entrance of the canal. We will have a break to give you the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch of Panamanian cuisine.

After lunch we will continue our visit to the Amador Causeway, a road that connects 3 islands and one of the most popular places in Panama where you will enjoy wonderful views.
